Great!
This will be nice to be able to get the current party line.
Very cool! I was just in Xela in June living with a family and studying at Kie-Balam. Had a blast. If you have a chance, go say hi to Marlo Mora. She's the director and seems to know everything about that Xela and Guate in general. Here's her number: 7761 1636. She studied in Chicago and speaks English. I was actually in your gated community (a shuttle stop). And boy do I ever remember those 'sidewalks'. How long will you be there? I had such an amazing time and want to go back next summer. We shall see. Anyway, you'll love Antigua and Lake Atitlan. Go horseback riding on that one hippie island if you can! Laguna I think. I'll be waiting for your the next issue... Besitos. -Dez
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. It's great to see it from the gringo point of view.I love the part about finding food products in strange places. All is well w/ girls, etc. Barn has new roof. We're putting the garden to bed w/ a cover crop. Still see your ladybugs out there doing their job. Our best, Susie and the big guy.
